If you're just starting to write or are well into your career, you may want to rub shoulders with other writers. In fact, if you don't, you should. We all need to get our writing in front of other eyes, not just those of friends and relatives. The best eyes are writers' eyes...

The well known Port Moody Writers' group has been operating for 35 years and invites you to join us. We provide discussion, critique and support for both emerging and experienced writers in fiction and nonfiction of all kinds - books, short stories and articles. Members include published writers, so participants get the real skinny on craft and the business of getting published.

Surprisingly, this group is a Port Moody Recreation Department offering and sessions take place at Kyle Centre in Port Moody, behind the old city hall on St. John's Street.

Here are the deets:
Monday evenings: September 17 to Dec 3 (10 sessions); 7-9:30pm
Course: Creative Writing #45174
Facilitator: Julie H. Ferguson

We look forward to welcoming you!
