HEARD AT MY WRITERS' GROUP THIS MORNING

The leader of my writers' group, Eileen Kernaghan (www.eileenkernaghan.ca), told us of a new article about literary agents in North America written by Canadian agent, Carolyn Swayze. Her excellent piece is featured in the Writers' Union of Canada electronic newsletter for Winter/Spring 2009.

Ms. Swayze provides a clear picture of how literary agents work in today's electronic world, what attracts them and what does not, and explains how they are paid and how much.
